While being tamed, the kitten mistakenly responds to “Chi” (as in shi – from shikko, the Japanese word for “urine”) and this becomes her name. Chi then lives with her new family, learns about different things and meets new people and animals.

“Chi Finds””Chi, mitsukeru” (チー、見つける)May 26, 2008Mrs. Yamada needs to take out the trash, but Chi clutches the bag. Mrs. Yamada distracts Chi with a ball, but while Mrs. Yamada is outside, Chi climbs up to a window and is almost seen.
“Chi Wants to See””Chi, mitagaru” (チー、見たがる)May 27, 2008Mrs. Yamada removes books and boxes so that Chi cannot climb up to the window. However, when Chi jumps, she is only inches away from reaching the window sill.
“Chi Ve””Chi shizu” (チー・シーズ)May 28, 2008Chi is able to jump onto the window sill, so Mrs. Yamada closes the door to Mr. Yamada’s workroom. This angers Chi. Mr. Yamada buys a stuffed animal.
The sweet home of chi anime
C.C.’s predominant costume in the second season is his Black Knight Order uniform, which is radically different from that of the other Black Knights. Instead of the usual Black Knight jacket, C.C. wears a sleeveless black uniform with a high collar, and the Black Knights symbol on the chest. The lower end of the uniform separates into four long pieces that extend almost to the ground. A long sash, trimmed in red is also worn around the waist. C.C. also wears long black gloves with gold trim followed by red arm bands, as well as long white and gold high-heeled boots.
Her individual experiences have led C.C. to become an independent and solitary individual, with little sensitivity, even for those with whom she has signed contracts. She tells Lelouch that she has lived so long that she can no longer remember who loves her and who hates her. Because of her nature and history, she has been alone as long as she can remember. Lelouch is possibly the first person who ever really cared about her and she seems to return at least some of these feelings, so much so that she unexpectedly kisses him after their memories are shared. This is also seen in the second season, as she kindly teases him more often. However, she maintains that she has been selfish, keeping Lelouch alive just so that she might be able to die.
